LAN problem Billion Router Asus P5MOBO

Hello,

I recently bought an Asus P5KPL-AM-PS mobo to use with my E5300 cpu. Everything installed correctly in XP including the LAN drivers. But when I went to run the setup program in XP for my Billion 7401 VGP R3 router, it would not complete the detection of my router over the LAN. What are my options now to get my router setup with my current mobo?

hi there,

are you sure you installed all drivers

and the correct one?

go to device manager and check the list

Thanks re_mi,

I figured it out. My router had the previous settings from my recently fried computer :( I switched off the router, cleared the settings and back on - voila! The router accepted my new LAN card and initialised ;)
