Unable to use pendrive

Hello,
I have PNY 2 GB pen drive, when I insert it it windows detects it but in my computer, it shows only as removable disk and when I double click it, I get a message ,'Please insert a disk into drive'. please help me to rectify it.

right click onit and then click explore.if it doesnot work then your pendrive is physically destroyed or it contains viruses

how can i remove that virus.

you can remove virus by scanning your pendrive with an updated antivirus or right cick on the removable disk option and select format and then select quick format and then click on start.
