PC can't reply to ping from other PCs

Hello,
I have jus reformatted a PC and am trying to put it back to the network, using a static IP, I ping other IPs and they reply but when I ping the IP I set for the PC, it does not reply. Can someone help me with this problem?

If you have instaled a SP3 you will have to reinstal your sistem because.

pc canot replay to ping from other pc (only two pcs,cross over cable crimping)ip 192.168.0.1,192.168.0.2
