Pen drive is detected but says insert disk

Hello,
my transcend 4 gb pen drive is detected by computer. but when i try to acces it , it says insert disk into drive.... how to solve this problem.... please provide me exact solution to this..... pleaseeee

Your pen drive is posible to be locked with password, I haved a pen drive (in the past, smoller than yours) and when I lock him the sistem get me the same message. This only if I try to open the pen drive from my computer. But as far as I remember the sistem must run automaticaly, when you insert the pen drive in usb, a program who ask for password.
