Hello,

    some kind of virus deleted my system completely out of my laptop ...

1) can i format the laptop using the recovery disc?

2) if i formated my laptop from vista to Ubuntu can i restore vista by using the recovery discs?

Normally it should do it, just place the cd1 in the drive and then boot on it afterward, the rest should be explain on the screen, what is the brand of the laptop?
