Use a straight cable to connect router’s LAN port to your computer’s Ethernet port, after that configure computer to have IP 192.168.10.x (i.e. 192.168.10.100, 192.168.10.200) and subnet mask 255.255.255.0, after that try again. If still having problem, take a look on these wireless network or Ethernet wired network setup tutorials, hope able to help you.
