Why does my computer shut off without warning

Hello,
why does my computer shut off without warning if I play PC Games?
what the Hell is happening?
Please Help me...

This are the Info of my computer...
Windows XP Professional
System...
Pentium(R)4 CPU 3.00 GHz
3.00 GHz,480 MB of RAM.

hi there,

the pc is getting high temperature

its getting hot and that is the reason it shuts off

add more cooler fan to it

also clean the air spaces and filter
