Malwarebytes problem...stopping

Hello,

I have been running malwarebytes for over 3 hours now and I'm not sure if it has stopped as in frozen or not.

The 'currently scanning' is stuck on 'C:\Window\SoftwareDistribution\Download\cd2b15b1a90e884578188440a1660b12\cbshandler\state'
but 'objects scanned' & 'time elapsed' goes up.

Dear Sir,

You just have to stop the program from running,

Press CTRL + ALT + Del

Then click on the Processes tab and select the malwarebyte program click on End process

then Run it again

that does not fix the problem of being unable to remove identified malware when program does not stop running. a serious problem
