Problem on internet explorer

Hello,
I have a prob;em on my internet xxplorer. internet explorer and yahoo messanger is not opening on my computer. i am using windows 2000 server on my deskpot computer. internet explorer is used to open, but now it is not opening. please could u help me to solve this problem?it may be becouse of active scripting and sctiveX controls, but i am not sure about that.
