Hello,
when try to rename any folder the message "the file or folder does not exist " and refuse renamimg the folder

I can;t rename the folder

hi there,

follow these few steps:

right click the folder>

Properties>

Security Tab>

Advanced>

then choose

permission for the folder

select allow for all

I am having the same problem, but it is due to KB938979 (I hope) and not due to permission problems (I went through your "to do" and didn't change a thing since all were already at allow.)

firstly make new folder name then write con and then press alt+255 then you will become success.
