Hello,
My vista computer will not connect to the wireless network I have setup here... I have disabled the windows firewall, uninstalled norton and disabled anything else I could imagine would get in the way. I have tried manually configuring the dns to opendnd, I have tried unplugging/restarting everything, I have tried to flush the dns and still no luck. I even updated the firmware on my router, which is by the way an Ativa brand router, and the computer I'm using is a 64 bit Vista desktop with internet access via a usb network adapter. It's recieving and sending out, thousands of packets, and occasionally comes to life, if only for a split second. There are 2 wired computers on the network, which work just fine, as well as the one I am on, which is connected through the wireless network. The router channel is set to 11 (maybe its's interference related...?) I have tried everything I can think of, now I'm looking for some advice. Any help y'all can give would be great.
Thanks,
Chris
