I was reinstalling Windows Vista and the computer froze. I rebooted the computer and it didn't go to post and still won't. When I power on the cpu fan is running fine. I have cleaned the ram with an eraser, done the cpu test, that'd OK, removed the ram and started the computer and I get the continuous beep, the psu is fine and the computer is stripped back to just ram. cpu, mobo and psu.

Any help or ideas anybody?

try fitting the ram in other slots
