WINDOWS SYSTEM 32 is not a valid window image

Hello,
What does this mean and what can one do clear this message or fix the problem:
Pop up says: "The application or DLL C:\windows\system32\sockspy.dll is not a valid window image. Please check this against your installation diskette." ??? windows xp May reply by email with the answer.
