Tv and laptop connection

Hello,

I bought a vga cable and successfully connected my laptop to my sony flat screen tv. I also bought a Dynex streo audio Y cable (mini stero jack to 2 rca inputs) and cant get any sound. Please advice.

Hello Sir,

You will get only the display but no image, you will have use speakers connected to your laptop!!
