Pen drive gone crazy

Hello,
I've got 16GB pen.
it deletes some files automatically. (videos,softwares....).
and also it gives wrong information about it's capacity ,
for ex:-files containing 2GB, but it shows 4 or more size used.
what am I to do?????????
please help me
