Unworking mouse and keyboard

Hello,
Hi, the other day I rearranged my office. Moved and unplugged my computer, it was working fine before the move. Now the mouse and keyboard are frozen, they are wireless. My computer is a dell desktop dimension C521.I am frozen on the welcome screen. Please help it has been this way for about 2 weeks. Thanks Mityburgie
I run windows XP.

You didn't tell us the brand of the keyboard/mouse. I have a Logitech and there is a button on the transmitter marked "connect". You press the transmitter button and then within 30 seconds you press the "connect" button on the bottom of both the keyboard and mouse.
