Still no sound after connecting cable to dvd Closed

Hello,

I connected a sound cabble from my laptop to my lg dvd,, but still i cant get sound, the cable has three pin, black one goes in the dvd, and yellow and white goes in the dvd, - i also tried to connect the picture cable but my laptop doesn't have a 4 pin, what do i do.

Have you plugged out any speakers or you are trying to have sound on the laptop 

itself? This will be very helpful for solving your problem.

No i have not removed any speakers, i just plugged the cable, and still there's no sound coming out, i need the sound to come out from the speakers. or do i need to configure anything on the laptop

Also my laptop has no space or hole for the picture cable, (Video out) what do i do, must i buy it separately. or what.

Do you have the sound drivers installed on it.

Please confirm it. This might be the source of the

problem.
