hello mrhack,
so what i would advise you is that to uninstall your current driver on your laptop you can do it by following those steps :
1)go to the device manager menu
2)right click on the desired device and click on uninstall
After having done that go to the following url and download this driver :
http://support.euro.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=ed&l=en&s=bsd&releaseid=R165116&SystemID=INS_PNT_PM_1525&servicetag=&os=WLH&osl=en&deviceid=15135&devlib=0&typecnt=0&vercnt=1&catid=-1&impid=-1&formatcnt=1&libid=17&fileid=222145
once the download is over install it and youre done
