My acer aspire t650

Hello,
my acer ast650 refuses to start, it boots up goes to this blue screen where it shows del and f12. it then goes to another window that displays black a message comes up saying that windows did not start successfully a recent hardware or software change might have cause this. It ask to run the last good configuration, i do that still nothing I try all the os options nothing. I bought the system and never got an installation disk. it sounds to me like a malicious virus, could it b hard drive?
