Hello everyone,

I'm trying to run Talend its a data integration / ETL tool on my Mac. When I try and open it, I get the following error:

The application /Users/LiweiChu/Desktop/opensourceETL/TalendOpenStudio-macosx-carbon.app cannot be opened because its executable is missing.

Anyone have any ideas on how to solve this problem? I really want to try Talend because I've heard its one of the best ETL and data integration tools!

Thanks.

Dear Bob70,

This indicates that there are missing executable files from

the application. You will have to search for the file from a

friend or on the web. The actual file is in .exe format and this

is obligatory for it to run.

Thank you.
Could you please try and execute this command from the terminal and
let us know if it helps:

chmod +x /Users/LiweiChu/Desktop/opensourceETL/TalendOpenStudio-
macosx-carbon.app/Contents/MacOS/TalendOpenStudio-macosx-carbon
