Screen is coming blank Closed

Hello,

i have hp pavilion dv-2000 & i am facing the same problem . after closing lid in running condition , it is not working now. screen is coming black while machine sound is proper . Wallpaper is looking little bit. 
i nave tried your method 5-6 time but not getting success . please tell other way if exist to fix the problem .

Dear Umesh, 

Since it is a laptop and it's no working properly, the problem might be sourcing from damaged monitor cable 

which should be fixed by a proper computer technician or also from a damaged motherboard. For solving 

both of the problems, you will have to send the laptop to a computer technician.
