No audio output

Hello,
i have a pavilion dv 5000 with the system vista business. and for some odd reason my sound stop working. i've tried a ton of solutions already but none worked just causing more problems. i have no audio output thanks to some computer assistant telling me to delete it and reinstall it. i do not have my driver disk. so can someone please help me! thanx

drivers are on link below:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/

before doing so open run> type msconfig

on general tab select normal startup

apply and restart
