Realtek drivers,no sound

Hello,
I have tried many solutions and nothing works,i'm using windows 7,Procesor DualCore AMD Athlon 64 X2, 2000 MHz (10 x 200) 3800+, ASRock ALiveSATA2-GLAN (3 PCI, 2 PCI-E x1, 1 PCI-E x16, 4 DDR2 DIMM, Audio, Gigabit LAN),but my VT8237A High Definition Audio Controller doe's not work.
In bottom right corner speakee has a red x on it,when i go to device menager high definition audio controler has a yellow exclamation point. When i go into it properties it says This device cannot start. (Code 10). I've tried updating to many versions and nothing,no suond appears. Please people help me i'm desperate. I didn't do only flash of the BIOS because i do not know how(please step by step procedure). Contact me with your solutions here please.

Just make a bios update to version > 2.60 and the sound with Windows 7 will work

hi there,

the driver install is not compatible for windows 7

right click on the exe file >

go to compatibility tab>

and select windows vista

apply and double click to launch installation

i have few question still,when i go into system 32 drivers what is the name of the sound file which i have to delete.
What does RC mean and what is my bios update i have to download because i only found for win xp,vista,not for windows 7,i have ID motherboard 63-142-0000010-00101111-082306-VIA$AS2GL000_ALIVESATA2-GLAN BIOS P1.50,ASRock ALiveSATA2-GLAN.

dear
first uninstall the sound drivers then
please delete the sound file from system root - system32 - deivers. restart

then go to Device manager if u see yellow mark then RC and click update driver - yes this time - select from the list - don't search - have disk - and give the path of sound driver. Note if you see any warning then its driver not work.

if not Go your motherboard manufacture web site and download the bios update file and install it if possible download the sound driver then install driver which i tell u above.

Dear

RC mean right click the name of the file is sound or u see any file named sound just delete it from system32 - drivers and from systemroot - system

then restart & install again

i meet you on skype if you want

search yoursahib from contacts - search skype users

country India click on find

please tell me what is your motherboard manufacture company like as intel, via, sis or other & what is your model no. like as dg31gl, 945gl

by the way i didn't find anything to delete i system or system root,it's like when i install realtek it appears nowhere :(

Dear

i read the manufacturer web site carefully i think your motherboard not support the Windows 7..it means u cannot update driver or install driver.

At the bottom of this web page under OS. your OS is not listed.

do not buy a new sound card...your mobo sound is good...go to asrock website download the newest bios and flash your mobo you'll see that the bios is upgrading your sound card...so flash and install your drivers again ;) everything is working :) hope i helped :)
