Kindly advise me how to install xp sp2 in compaq cq40 1o8 tu laptop. now my system is fully not able to boot it. It shows technical information Stop: oxoooooo7b (0xf7c1E524, oxcooooo34, oxoooooooo,oxoooooooo)

Download the SATA driver for your particular chipset. Then download nlite (just google it). Install it and follow the directions to slipstream the driver into your installation disc. You can also add SP3 and all the drivers you need to it.

hi there,
go to bios and restore it to default setting
if you have a sata hard disk then disable it in bios setting
or RAID Auto/Ahci to RAID Auto/ATA
then reboot from installation disk
