Hello,
When I start my computer,
Processor fan, SMPS fan floppy disk drive, CD drive and Hard disk gets power supply and looks like its working fine,
But when i switch the SMPS switch, the processor fans start but stops after 2-3 seconds.

I am not sure what is the problem, if it?s with power supply or motherboard, CMOS.
Also the problem occurs sometimes only.Sometimes the PC starts as if it has no problem.

I have checked RAM, removed it,wiped it and reinserted it,yet the problem exists.

Pentium D processor,ASUS P5 series motherboard

there is no BEEP sound.
All Wires are properly connected.

If anyone can tell me now how to troubleshoot this issue,
Thanks in Advance.

Dear Avinash,

Please consider sending the PC for repair for the source of the problem

can be from different hardware components. He will confirm from where

the problem is actually coming from and get it repaired. It will be difficult

for you to confirm the problem source for you do not have the required

materials.

Thanks in advance.
