Memory and Graphics upgrade. QDI motherboard

Hello,
I am currently running a PlatiniX 4X QDI Motherboard and I need to upgrage the memory and graphics card.

I have 768mb of Ram and I have a Rage Fury Pro xpert 2000 pro graphics card.

I know that I need sdram for my memory upgrade. I have two questions that I hope someone can answer.

1, I have been told that I have 184-pin memory, is this correct and if unsure how do i find out?
2, What sort of graphics card would anyone recommend, i want something with a bit of go but not really a gamer, just to help speed up my PC and to watch youtube etc.?

Please can someone help?
