Hello,

I was having problems with my Windows XP computer, so I decided to reinstall the operating system. Now, after finally getting the internet working correctly, I am having several problems:

1. Anything I download has a very slow rate (not even 1 kb/s).
2. This is therefore preventing me from downloading any of the service packs, updated drivers, etc.
3. The things I HAVE managed to download (updated version of IE, Firefox, ActiveX controller), windows won't let me open them.
*Firefox, it says only part of the Read Process Memory was completed
*Active X it says the file is corrupted (which I don't think is the case- I downloaded it from Cnet, over 15,000 people have downloaded it, and it had like a 4 or 5 star rating)

HELP! :)

hi there,

to increase your downloading speed you must use

a download manger like idm

download it from link below:

https://ccm.net/downloads/internet/4791-internet-download-manager/

if still same slow problem you must contact your isp to get more information

Thanks
