Sound problem in Laptop

Hi,

I purchased a new laptop, and since then i cant hear any songs.i gusee system sound works, system games error messages are all fine. But movies, sonds have no audio. Is this a problem with sound card. If i download a sound card will the problem be resolved. Please advice.

hi there,

you cannot download sound card

but a sound driver

and answer to your question is yes

download and install a driver will fix the isse

bit you must download correct driver
