Problem after system restore

Hello,
I did system restore last night,and now my laptop is a mess.......Few of my icons,including internet dissapeared.I don`t have option to use HELP icon,the system will not let me.......I coppyed my photos on CD ,but when I try to run the CD on the other laptop,or Playstation 3,shows that the CD is corrupted.The pictures are in Picasa program.So,can you please give me some advise.I thought about reinstalling Windows,but how to save my photos..............Please help..........

hi there,

move all the pictures to a usb disk or portable

hard disk as you are unable to burn cd
