Wireless connection

Hello,
I have an ibm t42 computer.......I cant seem to connect to my wireless........I turn on my wireless radio and enable my wireless, but the computer keeps disabling the connection.........I have a 11a/b/g Wireless LAN Mini PCI adapter, but I cannot apply my IP address to it..........

What should I do..........and thanks

please update the driver

go to device manager and get it updated or download

latest driver from official Ibm website
