My speakers work and headfones work but..

Hello, my problem is that my speakers work but when i plug my headfones there are two playback devices.. one of them are for the speakers which work and the otha doesnt work and is for the headfonesss. please help me because i prefer to listen to things through my headfones. please get back to me asap

Just try to re-install the driver of your sound card and test your system...
