Hello,

I have an IBM Thinkpad T40 that will not come on...the battery is charged all lights are on and fam hums when booting but screen is black. Prior to it not comeing on the screen would blink on when booting and before windows would load it would shut off......HELP!

hi there,

remove your battery ,

press on power button

then after some minutes reseat it back

and it will power up
