Automated backup system

Hey! can anyone help me please!? :)
how do i create an automated backup system for the user's home folder:
1) regularly backing up all the user's home folder, and not including the cache folder;
2) the system only needs to process the changes by deleting the deleted files and adding the new files to the backup copy;
3) backup needs to be stored in archived form.

does this make sense?

i'm using Linux 9.10.
