Pc lagging

Hey guys the problem is that every time i will try to start a game on my pc it will keeps lagging I have checked almost everything in the task manager and I have found all things correctly set but then what is the problem?

it happens to my pc too. whenever i play any game after some time it starts lagging which is very annyoing. My pc is XP service pack 2, RAM 1gb, 128AGP. It used to be fine when it was first bought. Checked for viruses and everything for 6 months but nothing changed.

I need more information in order to answer to your question but any way could you just check if your power supply is running correctly? And what voltage is it using? It may be from the power supply needing more voltage for the processes.
