Hello,
i bought a hp g60 laptop and its default opperating system is windows vista and as you know windows vista doesnt support many softwares and games so i tried to install windows xp after i insterted the disk and boot from cd the setup says 0x0000007b in a blue screen and when i press f10 bios menu there is no such thing as hard disk setting please help me???

The Windows XP disk does not have drivers for the SATA controller that HP uses. You will need to modify the XP disk and add the controller software. Google "slipstream" for instructions. You will also have missing network controller driver and sound driver.

I would just forget installing XP on this laptop. It takes a VERY advanced user to do it.
