Want to know about my laptop configration

Hello,
i hav dell 1525 inspiron with intel core 2 duo processor and having dos prompt
i want to know that it is having 32 bit or 64 bit compiler and i hav windowsxp in my laptop as an operating system
i hav format it because virus had corrupted it and when i hav to install it again the drivers doesnt work which i hav got with it when i hav purchashed. i hav doubt that the drivers were 64 bit because it also showing windows 7 as incompatible so tell me abt its configration
