Window system 32 file missing

help, some virus got into my laptop and when i try to restart it all it said was "window system 32 file or missing" something like that, i don't have any cd so is it possible to buy one or is there any other way to fix this? please if you know how can you explain it step by step, i have 0 knowledge when it comes to fixing computers other than ramming it against the wall or hitting it while cursing. thanks
