There's a problem with the sound on my laptop Closed

Hello,

I have a problem with my sound and audio devices on my laptop. the sound used to work but all of a sudden stopped. when i checked my sound device it said that i didn't have any. what can i do to get my sound back?
please help me!!!!!

Please carry out a system restore after having made 

a back up of your database and hence have the problem
