Outlook 2003 / hyperlinks

When I click on a hyperlink in Outlook 2003, nothing happens at all. What could be the problem and how can i fix it?

I saw this problem recently after a friend's friend helpfully uninstalled Firefox from his computer, leaving it without any default internet browser.

Make sure your computer has a default internet browser configured by running your favourite browser and then search the settings for 'always check if this is the default browser' and turn this on.
