Sims2 dd, it doesnt work

Hello,
Everytime I put the CD into my computer nothing pops up,
I go to "My Computer" but it says nothing is in the disc drive.

???

hi there,

use a lens cleaner and clean the lens of the drive

and also the cd,test in on other pc to confirm it contains data
