Hello,

I have ASUS laptop M6A and have recently reformatted the system. Operating system is Windows XP, service pack 3. Configuration is :
Intel(R) Pentium(R) M
Processor :1.86 GHz
798 MhZ, 0.98 GB of RAM

Now I don't have any audio from my laptop while when I connect external speakers, a very faint and distorted sound is heard whaich also fades within seconds. After that I don't hear anything. I have tried to uninstalling realtek audio driver and UAA and then reinstalled them again, but not success. Moreover, I have lost my recovery CD which came with my system, so I have downloaded drivers form Asus website.

Please help to resolve this ongoing audio problem. Appreciate your help.
Thanks / Harry

Dear Harry,

The problem should be with the audio drivers that you are using.

Please have the drivers updated and hence get the problem fixed

up.

Thanks in advance.
