I am trying to connect my laptop (Vista Premium) to SAMSUNG LCD tv. I am using the HDMI connection on PC and TV. The sound & picture work fine with PC for games, desktop and streaming video content from internet. However, when I play a DVD through the Windows Media Center, the program crashes indicating that I do not have the correct video files for playback. If I start the movie, and then connect to the tv, the picture is fine but no sound to tv. I have looked at enabling hdmi sound output, changing and screen resolution. Any help is appreciated.
