Fn Key Stuck

Hello,
My Toshiba vista is playing up with Fn key. I have tried many solutions from the forum but i dont have Num lock or scroll down lock. Pls what should I do? Thank you.

Im sorry this is about a year too late.

Hopefully you solved the problem.

If not...

Since you dont have a NUM LOCK or a SCROLL LOCK try the F11 button.
Don't forget to hold down the FN key.
(You might have to do it a couple times for your keys to go back to normal letters)

Dear Kamal,

Please if it is actually stuck, simply remove the key

manually and get the problem related with it fixed.

If ever you don't know how to do it, please consider

sending it for repair for no other hardware components

to get damaged.

I am having the same problem. My FN key is not actully stuck it just wont is disable. When I try to type "people" I end up typing "*e6*3e". I tried other suggestions. But I don't have a number or scroll lock.

i have the same problem, i spilled some eh, "stuff" on it and now it can only type normally when in Num lock, when its off, U means left arrow, O means right arrow etc. I have no idea what to do -__-

FN plus f11 fixed it for me... give it a try

PP, many thanks for your F11 advice. You just cured my netbook after attaching a Trust KP-1200 Numeric Keypad. I though I was about to get into replacing drivers etc. Much relief.
