Bluetooth is not working on my DELL inspiron

Hello,
I have the bluetooth device on my DELL INSPIRON 600m and in the WINDOWS DEVICE MANAGER is dislpayed and enabled. When I try to activate it, I get always a message "Bluetooth device no found. Please verify that it is properly connected and turned on". Moreover, when I enter the system setup, it says that the bluetooth is not installed! I am going crazy. Can anyone help me to solve this?

I have the exact same problem on my inspiron 580... did you ever get it figured out?
