program running and cant see what it is Closed

Hello,
First, I cannot hear well and am told that a program is running is the reason I cannot click on anything on my desktop different times of the day.  This is very aggravating.  How can I know what is running on my computer at anytime I want to see?

Hi there,

To know and see the running applications on your system open task manager.It can be opened by pressing ctrl shift del or ctrl shift esc and even right click on task bar and select task manager.Once opened you can see them on applications,services and processes tabs and end them if needed.
