Removed viruses and now can't get internet

Hello,
I just removed a trogan virus and a rogue adware virus from my computer using Webroot and now I can't get on the internet. We use a cable modum from AT&T and all of the other computer's will connect but my laptop. My laptop has a wireless connection that says it has an excellent connection yet whenever I open up the internet explorer it shows me the "you're connected but cannot connect conect to the internet" message. Please help!
