None working speakers

Hello,
So my speakers are correcly plugged in and everything but no sound comes out... its on, and on the computer it says that the sound is coming outta the speakers when it is not! please help me!

Hi there,

Try to hook a headphone to the pc sound card or plug the speaker to a mp3 player to konow which one is not good,whereas for the pc sound,please go to control panel and raise level of volume in mixer for all channels and revert back for more help.
