Hello,
I got a BSOD yesterday after months of not getting one. I tried to reload the original OS as I did before, but encountered problems. The OS is windows '98, and i was running with the upgrade software windows XP. During the reload process, I got the following error message: ERROR [2] ERROR [128] WRITING SECTOR 18396 to 80h. Another message that i got read as such: ERROR [128] WRITING SECTOR 18459 to 80h.
I was wondering if anyone can decifer this problem for me and tell me what I should do? Thanks for your guidance!

Your hard disk is defective and should be replaced.
