itouch screen is whiteClosed

Hello,
can you please help me fix my son't itouch screen is not displaying anything at all..just white with a light grey line going down it.  It will only play music  on the docking station but is not showing anything at all on it.  Thank you.

did u do anything to it or did anything happen to it? if so this may be the reasoning. get it restored if it is the newest version of the itouch (8gb) then u can get it restored for only $100.
