The reason why you aren't able to attach some files to your mail is that the email service uses a specific anti virus application that blocks some files with specific format. These files can actually have the possibility to contain some viruses and the anti virus software that they use completely blocks the attachment to be loaded.
Some formats that won't be able to be uploaded are exe, dll, ocx, com or bat. You will still try to send them after having zipped them but they won't be allowed to be uploaded though. This is an essential security measure that is activated.
This secures every user to which they provide their email service.
